Shipping, Cancellation, Return & Refund Policy

Domestic Shipping

We take utmost care in shipping your products to ensure they reach you safely. To make the process smooth, please allow 1–3 working days for dispatch.

Orders placed before 1 PM on a business day are usually shipped the same day (subject to payment confirmation, stock availability, and card security checks).

  • Orders placed after 1 PM will be shipped the next working day.
  • Orders received on Sundays or public holidays will be dispatched on the following working day.
  • During peak times (festive/holiday seasons), processing and delivery may take longer. 

🚫 Please note: We do not use Speed Post services; therefore, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or certain military addresses unless a courier partner covers those areas. Rural addresses may also take additional time for delivery.

Delivery Timelines

  • Standard parcels are delivered within 48–72 hours across India.
  • Bulky shipments are sent by surface (road) and may take 7–10 days unless air delivery is requested.
  • In rare cases, delays may occur due to: 

    • Customer not reachable / incorrect contact details.
    • Strikes or courier company delays.
    • Natural calamities (flood, earthquake, etc.).
    • Government checks or other unforeseen circumstances. 

Octroi & Local Duties 

For deliveries outside Delhi, Octroi or State Duties may be charged by the local government. These charges are not included in product prices and cannot be reimbursed.

  • Customers are solely responsible for paying such duties. 
  • If a parcel is refused due to Octroi, all shipping and handling costs will be deducted, and the balance will be issued as Store Credit.

International Shipping

We proudly ship worldwide.

  • Processing time: 3–5 working days.
  • Shipping charges & transit time depend on the destination and courier service. We use DHL, FedEx, BlueDart, Aramex, TNT, etc
  • Estimated delivery: 5–7 working days, though delays may occur due to customs clearance.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • Import duties, VAT, and customs fees are levied by the destination country and are beyond our control.
  • Customers are responsible for paying these charges.
  • Customs clearance can cause additional delays. No adjustments shall be done in any case.

When ordering from www.dressmycraft.com, the customer is considered the importer and must comply with all laws of the destination country.


Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 hours of placing them, provided the status is still “Pending.”
  • Once an order is “Processed,” it cannot be cancelled.
  • Cancellation requests must be emailed with the Order Number.
  • If approved, a 15% restocking fee will be deducted (shipping not included) 
  • Dress My Craft reserves the final right to accept or deny cancellations.

Replacement & Return Policy

We ensure every item is thoroughly checked before dispatch. However, replacements/returns are accepted only if:

  • The product is damaged in transit.
  • There is a manufacturing defect.
  • A wrong item is delivered.

Conditions

  • Claims must be raised within 7 days of receiving the parcel.
  • Store Credit will be issued once the product is returned and inspected.
  • Returns must be shipped via a trackable courier at the customer’s cost.
  • Items sent without prior confirmation will not be accepted.

Exceptions (Not Eligible for Return/Replacement)

  1. Gift Certificates.
  2. Pre-order items.
  3. Products damaged due to customer mishandling.
  4. Items missing original packaging, tags, or accessories. 
  5. Electronic items (heat guns, machines, etc.).
  6. Claims for missing items not raised at the time of delivery. 

Packaging Issues

All products are shipped in the best possible condition. However, since some products are imported, packaging may sometimes arrive slightly damaged due to long transit. This does not affect the quality or performance of the product itself.

✅ 99.9 % of our products do not have expiry dates.


Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not generally offered. Instead, we issue a Discount Coupon / Store Credit usable for future purchases.
  • If an order is confirmed but cannot be shipped from our end, a full refund will be processed within 5–7 working days.

Limitations for International Orders

  • Manufacturer warranties may not apply outside India.
  • Product manuals/instructions may not be available in local languages.
  • Products may not conform to international standards or labeling requirements.

The customer is responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported into their country.
